*in the tramp* Oh man, I still haven't commented so far. I wouldn't mind an extra hour per day, only for my dA businesses >_<
Nevertheless, serious comment now :> I actually do not think that Xeno is that way absorbed by the background, it's much likely his colours who give that impression u.u I mean... He wears only dark colored clothes, so he's probably in stealth-mode at nighttime D': So don't worry too much about it, okay? :c I actually think its quite fitting for the picture, since the only lightsource is Celeste's Shockwave - which is a really interesting idea to my mind. I'm actually adoring more soft kinds of adding light into a picture, but somehow your strong coloring with the clear contrast between the single grades of light fascinate me in a positive way. It's something out of the ordinary for me to see, so it has its very own original touch :3
What I also like a lot is the way you drew Celeste. Her pose is so dynamic, and her facial expression is simply great xD I always imagined her being a calm being, but well, actually she's the team member I have thought the less about so far o.o somehow... i do also like this way of presenting her... Hmm o^o
Of course you also did a great job on Rattata and Tawny. Their poses are - just like Celeste's one - very dynamic. I bet Xeno would/will have a hard time keeping up with her, since even if Celeste is adventaged due to her level and probably power a quick and agile Pokémon like Rattata could turn out to be a big problem for a big and not so agile giant waterwormserpent-like dragon :c Xeno, don't underestimate your opponent D:
